Guy Fawkes and The Conspirators - the first wave of British progressive rock music
Guy Fawkes and The Conspirators are widely considered to be the first true progressive rock band. Their use of barrels of gunpowder together with the triple-necked lute and the new Italian import keyboard, the Mell’o’tron, marked them as something different in the early 1600’s.
