A lawyer may not enter into, calculate or recover an agreement on illegal or clearly excessive fees, or recover an undue amount for expenses. Among the factors to be taken into consideration in determining whether a fee is manifestly excessive are the following: restrictions apply regardless of comparison, arbitration or judgment. Nothing prevents a lawyer from representing a client for less than the above limits, and nothing prevents a court from assessing reasonable attorneys` fees below the above limits or finding that lawyers` fees below those limits are unreasonable in a given case. .
