  1. I have to say that this episode contains some of the most angular, awkward music I’ve ever heard, especially that silly song (I think it was called “Dirty Boy”) that appeared in an interminable chainsaw version and an acoustic version (in fairness though, the acoustic version was much more tolerable). No matter, I’ll keep listening. Where else these days am I going to get my ears stretched like this?

  2. FUN FOLLOWUP: I played both versions of “Dirty Boy” for my wife, and she liked them both. I suppose that shouldn’t surprise me too much; after all, she used to hang out with Stryper before they were famous. She thought both versions made sense, and she could easily imagine their inclusion in a Broadway musical of some kind. That is, up until we looked up the lyrics. We both would have been happier had we not done that.
